A Shawl and a Pattern

Knity’s Ravelery Forums Mate Umgarnt is a dedicated knitter too. She did some awesome stuff for “Strickpate” and certainly we want you to have a look at the.

Today: a wonderful gray shawl with an absolute impressive pattern.

On a side note: we of Helz-Design are able to do some graphics, but this kind of knitting pattern is beyond our imagination! Well done, Umgarnt.

On and on and on

It is pretty amazing. L., a 14 year old teenager based in Lower Saxionia is knitting steadily for kids in the south of Germany. Kids she doesn’t know.
You remember L.? She did scarf #2 and we got a report that another piece of knitting is nearly done.

Now Knity is afraid, that teens like L. might leave her in the lurch.
Me thinks, Knity is doing well with all the administration work she is doing!

Strickpate is like a rocket

really the Strickpate is like a rocket

We started this blog on January 4th 2012.
So it is not very long ago!

I am very active at ravelry.com and therefore I founded a group at that place to get in contact with supporters.

I thought it might be a bit lazy or sloopy, that I needed to give time for reactions.
But wow – so many questions, so much input, so wonderful comments

Thanks a bunch everybody.

Meanwhile we have an email adress. Feel free to mail Strickpate at: strickpate@yahoo.de – I really love to hear from you, either in German or in English.

Sunday 15th we had 100 hits to this blog.
Fantastic.
Today we hit number

275

.

Isn’t that amazing?
We are  stunned.
Thanks so much.

I had a dream

I had a dream.

Clothes, that might other, more wealthy children, a bit envy.

What am I able to do?

I am able to knit.

I love knitting; actually I knit everywhere I go.

So I started to knit the clothes I was dreaming off.

Fact is: the whole of Germany is too big for me. I am just a single girl. Weiterlesen
